I was washing the car today and it took me back to the time you spent painstakingly washing and polishing the succession of cars you had. We had some great cars and some absolute bangers. For some reason the yellow Vauxhall Cavalier Mark 1 springs to mind. How you managed to get it to France and back driving through the night, getting bump started off the ferry and there were problems with the gear box as well as driving across France without it breaking down - I don't think we had it long!
